I couldn’t do a Christmas Gift Guide without including a list for my fellow pregnant mamas! I’m a firm believer that pregnancy is a time to be pampered and spoiled because growing a human is hard work! I created this list with a third trimester mama in mind (I basically created it for myself because I’ll be in my third trimester at Christmas), but these gifts would be much appreciated at any stage of pregnancy. I’ve also included a few more of my favorite pregnancy gifts in the shop section at the bottom of the post.
// Tiba + Marl Raf Weekender Baby Bag – I’ve been crushing on this bag for over a year now. It’s a large diaper bag designed for weekend and overnight trips and I think it would be perfect as a hospital bag. I also think it would be perfect for traveling with my soon-to-be three littles so it’s at the top of my Christmas list this year. It also comes in a fun camo print.
// Belly Bandit Ultimate Labor & Delivery Kit – I received this kit at my baby shower for Avery and I loved it. It includes everything you’ll need during delivery like hair ties, comfy socks, nursing pads, lip balm, a portable phone charger and more. It even includes my favorite prenatal vitamins. I will definitely re-pack it for my hospital bag this time because I found it so useful.
// Zoe Organics Pregnancy Gift Set – Taking care of your skin during pregnancy is so important. I’m not sure if I believe that any skin product can prevent stretch marks, but I do believe that scratching your dry, ever-stretching skin makes them worse. I’ve heard really great things about Zoe Organics and would be thrilled to find this set in my stocking this year.
// The Girlfriends’ Guide to Pregnancy + The Girlfriends Guide to Surviving the First Year of Motherhood by Vickie Iovine – I’ve mentioned before that I read nearly every pregnancy book I could find when I was pregnant with Harper. The Girlfriends’ Guide to Pregnancy is by far my favorite pregnancy book. It was informative, yet still so funny. Vickie Iovine shares all of the real stuff no one else wants to tell you without scaring you to death by discussing every little thing that could go wrong. I didn’t even realize that she had written a guide to the first year of motherhood. Even though I’ve done the first year twice now, I’m planning to read it just because I loved her first book so much. This set is a must for new moms!
// Ingrid & Isabel x James Fox & Co. Maternity/Nursing Hospital Gown – I’ve heard mixed opinions about this, but I’m a big fan of wearing your own hospital gown. Even if you don’t wear it during labor, I highly recommend getting one to change into right after baby is born (and you’ve taken that first glorious shower!). The nurses will be checking you frequently so you want something with easy access so you won’t have to completely undress every time they come in. Last time, I bought two gowns from Baby Be Mine Maternity and wore one during delivery and one after she was born. This time, I’m planning to wear one of those again for delivery, but I want to go with something a little more luxurious for my recovery. I love this one because it’s black and cute enough for pictures!
