I don’t know if this happens to all moms, but ever since I had kids, I can never think of anything I want for Christmas. I spend so much time trying to find the newest toys and baby gear for my kids, that I forget that I’ve been wearing the same jeans for three years and using the same makeup since 2010. Last year, I asked for two things: a camera and a double stroller. I got the double stroller. That thing saved my life with two kids so I have no regrets, but this year I’m not asking for anything baby related. (Actually that’s not true, I really want this Veer wagon.)
This list is for the women who haven’t had time to make their own Christmas list. It’s also for those of us who like to treat ourselves to a little something each year. And because I had so much fun window shopping for us, there are six things today instead of five. Enjoy!
1 // Homebody: A Guide to Creating Spaces You Never Want to Leave by Joanna Gaines – Do you guys miss Fixer Upper as much as I do? I’ve been watching it from the beginning recently and missing it so much! Joanna’s new book was released last week and I don’t know a woman who wouldn’t love to find it under her tree.
2 // Nest Fragrances Holiday Candle – Nest makes the best candles in the world and the holiday scents are just delicious. This is a perfect “treat yourself” gift.
3 // Sonix Femme Fist iPhone case – My children destroyed my last phone case recently and I replaced it with this one. Sonix is my favorite phone case manufacturer. Their prices are good and their designs are always gorgeous. I’m loving this one, but the sushi case is still my all-time favorite.
4 // Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold Palette – I can’t get over how gorgeous this highlighter palette is. The colors are perfect and would work on all skin tones. It’s definitely a splurge, but since you only use a touch of highlighter (some of you may use a ton of it. You do you, girlfriend!), it should last for a very long time.
5 // Erin Condren Life Planner – This is my favorite planner and I buy a new one each year. This planner is completely customizable from the cover to the layout (horizontal, vertical or hourly). It’s a must for busy moms or anyone suffering from pregnancy/postpartum brain.
6 // adidas Originals + Pharrell Williams Tennis Hu Primeknit sneakers – I can’t live without a good pair of sneakers. They have to be comfortable and cute enough to wear with both jeans and activewear. These fit the bill perfectly! And they’re pink – #girlmom!
