It’s Friday and Harper’s face sums up how I feel about this weekend! Tonight, my parents are speaking at a marriage ministry event at our church. If you know my parents, you know it will be hilarious, but also extremely helpful. If you’re local (our church is in Chantilly, VA), join us! Then on Sunday, one of our dearest family friends is getting married. I love weddings in general, but they are extra special when the bride and/or groom is someone you adore. Bonus: Sam and I get two “date nights” in one weekend. That never happens anymore!
If you’re having a chill weekend and have time to browse the internet, here are some of my favorite links from the week:
// I love this round up of children’s books with African American characters from The Mama Notes. This is a great way to teach our children about Black History Month while also adding to their book collection.
// This DIY Valentine Bath Bomb would make a cute Valentine’s Day gift for your girlfriends. It’s also a cute way to pamper yourself after the kiddos have gone to bed.
// Have you heard of Bobbi Brown’s new Skin Remedies collection? I just started using the Skin Clarifier and I promise you I saw a difference in my skin the very next day! There’s a remedy for every skin need. Try one and let me know what you think!
// Target’s Cat & Jack line is my go-to clothing line for Harper, especially for school clothes. They just released their Spring styles and I want one of everything! Where do you buy “play” clothes for your kids?
// In yesterday’s post, I included a scripture from Ruth, but I didn’t talk about it much because I was too busy updating you all on my life. I wanted to link the devotional that goes along with it today because I have this nagging feeling that some of you are in a waiting place as well. It’s from She Reads Truth’s study on Ruth. You can find the entire plan here.
