Growing up, my mom always gave my brother, sister and me the cutest Valentine’s Day gifts. It was never anything too big, but it always made us feel special. She continued this until we all moved out of the house. Naturally, I had to do the same thing for my own children and this year I’m trying to get a head start in case the baby comes between now and then. I always stick to the typical V-Day color palette, but I try to make sure that it’s a gift that will be useful; a book, a new cup, etc. I also try to keep it small and not go overboard, which can be difficult for this girl mom. (And speaking of being a girl mom, I realized after putting the finishing touches on this post that everything on this list is girly. Please forgive me, moms of boys! I promise to do better in the future!) Here are my favorite finds for this year…
// Monica + Andy Sweet Baby B Romper — I bought our new baby a swaddle blanket and hat from this company and I can’t wait to add some of their clothing to our collection. The quality is amazing and their prints are adorable!
// Itzy Ritzy Cupcake Teether — The sweetest little gift for the teething baby in your life.
// Brimware ABC & 123 Placemat Set — This placemat set is both adorable and practical.
// Converse Glitter Sneaker — Both of my girls have gone through major growth spurts lately and are in desperate need of sneakers. These Chucks are the perfect color for Valentine’s Day and they would get tons of use out of them.
// Jellycat Bashful Poodle — Jellycat makes the best stuffed animals for kids. We have the unicorn in a few different sizes, but I’ve never seen the poodle. Harper would adore this!
// Copper Pearl Lola Bib Set — Avery is working on quite a few teeth right now as evidenced by her drool-soaked shirts each day. These bibs are unbelievably absorbent and super cute.
// Hydroflask Kids Water Bottle — Harper’s preschool teachers have requested that each student bring in an insulated water bottle for recess since it gets so hot here in Orlando. I’ve purchased a few different ones that I didn’t love, but I’ve heard that this one is well worth the money.
// Carter’s Valentine’s Day PJ Set — One thing I can never resist is holiday-themed pajamas for my kids. I always check Carter’s first because their pajamas are so well priced. They’re inexpensive enough that I don’t get upset if they get stained, but still great quality. And always cute!
// Plant A Kiss — I bought this book for Harper for her very first Valentine’s Day and it’s still one of my favorites.
// Baby Bling Headband Set — Baby Bling makes my favorite baby headbands. They’re soft and stretchy so they don’t leave marks on baby’s head. And they come in a million different colors and prints. I have a feeling that my baby will come right around Valentine’s Day so I’m thinking she needs these for her newborn pictures.
What are you getting your littles for Valentine’s Day this year?
